I grew up in an independent household where I learned quite early that if I was going to achieve anything in my life, I had to do it myself.
My parents couldn’t afford to help me through school, sport or university. And there was a burning desire in me to succeed…so I had to work hard and achieve things myself.
Mindset, is a combination of life experiences, family upbringing, experiences and most of all, an internal strength. I believe some people are born with it, others learn it.
There is nothing in this life that I don’t think I can achieve or at least, have a good try at. I don’t have to be the best, I just need to have the tenacity to have a go.
Mindset, is a belief in yourself, a willingness to keep going, a resilience to life, and a determination to succeed or rise above our adversity.
Have a good think about what type of mindset you have at the moment.
Ask yourself:
-
Are you resilient to change, life’s adversities or problems?
-
Do you continue on with your challenges if you don’t seem to be results?
-
Do you stay committed to you goals even if life throws in obstacles?
-
What do you do to ensure that you succeed in goals you set for yourself?
-
You can always strengthen your mindset.
-
The key is always rising above your biggest excuse.
